5T Chairman Kartik Pandian visits Barunei Shrine

Bhubaneswar: In a significant move towards promoting and preserving the art and culture of Odisha, 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian visited the Khurda-based Barunei Shrine early Thursday morning to review the temple renovation work.

Intriguingly, Maa Barunei Temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Barunei, a manifestation of Shakti. The temple is located on Barunei Hill in Khordha district of the Indian state of Odisha. The temple houses idols of the twin goddesses Barunei and Karunei in the sanctum sanctorum. It serves as both a spiritual sanctuary and a tourist attraction, drawing visitors from across the state.

Pandian offered his prayers at 5:30 AM at Barunei, after which he engaged in discussions with the temple priests and senior officials regarding the ongoing developmental work and future plans for the shrine’s renovation and enhancement. During his visit, he also explored Sitakunda Hill, reviewed the ropeway, and emphasized the importance of timely completion of the renovation work.

The 5T chairman was accompanied by the Sports Secretary, Khurda District Collector, and other senior officials during his visit to the shrine.
