The Orissa High Court on Wednesday granted conditional bail to Jagabandhu Chand, husband of lady blackmailer Archana Nag, in the extortion and money laundering case.
According to reliable reports, Archana Nag’s husband Jagabandhu Chand had also been charged on several charges of money laundering.
Jagabandhu faces two more cases – extortion from influential people by blackmailing them with objectionable videos and an ED case.
Khandagiri police had arrested Jagabandhu Chand on October 22, 2022. He had earlier applied for anticipatory bail in the Orissa High Court well before his arrest from his Satya Vihar residence, but his anticipatory bail had been rejected.
