Leopard attack, Panic In Odisha’s Nuapada

A marauding leopard has unleashed fear in some parts of Odisha’s Nuapada district, having killed two cows and two calves in five villages of the district in the last few days.

According to sources, the leopard was sighted on the fringe of Lodara village on Tuesday while people of Pabaltola and Tiria Mahuabhata villages claimed to have seen the big cat wandering in their area.

According to reports, the locals were panic stricken at Mahuabhata village after the leopard reportedly attacked a calf.

The forest department team has arrived at the village and is investigating into the matter. Further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
