PK told media persons that being vocal is prevalent socio political ailment of people of Bihar and leaders of some parties were also suffering from this disease. Having no base and understanding, anyone could be heard talking big in Bihar, he remarked.
” RJD has zero presence in Lok Sabha and its leaders are talking about who would be PM face of opposition alliance INDIA which is quite ridiculous”, founder of ‘Jan Suraj’ said and added that same was the case with leaders of JD(U). Leaders of both the parties were unnecessarily making statements on who should be PM face of INDIA, he pointed out.
” Congress is largest party in alliance INDIA and the party has natural right to lead it “, PK said and compared the statement of RJD leaders on PM face with like utterance of a common man of Bihar having desire to decide who should be President of US. Before getting indulged in any debate, it was time for leaders of INDIA to decide seat sharing issue and prepare common minimum programme to counter BJP in next Lok Sabha elections, he suggested.
As it is, a big controversy had triggered among constituents of INDIA during its meeting in New Delhi on December 19 when TMC leader Mamata Banerjee proposed the name of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge as PM face of the alliance. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad were reportedly annoyed with such idea mooted by Banerjee. Chief Minister Kumar, however, had later dismissed reports of his annoyance as baseless, saying there was no reason for him to get annoyed.
