Bhubaneswar, Oct 18 : Medical instruments worth around Rs 60 lakh have been stolen from the Capital hospital here on Tuesday night.
Some employees and security personnel are suspected to have been involved in it.
Capital Hospital Director L D Sahu said some unused and new instruments kept in the lab were stolen by some people. An FIR has been filed and Police are inquiring into the incident.
The instruments are meant for conducting various pathological tests for Malaria and Dengue.
Sahu said CCTV footage revealed that some people wearing dresses similar to employees are seen taking the instruments in a sack.
