CBI to probe suspicious death of Dimapur’s Rosy & Samuel Sangma in Gurgaon

New Delhi, Jul 13 : The incident had evoked widespread condemnation from leaders across the spectrum in the Northeast. After several representations from Northeast leaders to Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the suspicious death of two Dimapur relatives – Rosy Sangma and Samuel Sangma in Gurugram, Haryana last month – the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to handover the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

It was a shocking case of alleged medical negligence when Rosy Sangma, a resident of Nagaland’s Dimapur, passed away on June 24 at a hospital in Gurugram, reportedly after doctors fed her ice cream while she was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
