Some incidents of extreme inhuman and beastly nature can blow any mind to bits. Two very recent incidents in India are really nerve shattering.
It requires nerves of iron to digest that a mother can throw her daughter from the fourth floor of a building to death.

It has happened in Bengaluru, and the mother is a doctor by profession whose mentally challenged four year old daughter weighed on her psyche.
In her subsequent confession the accused mother has admitted that, since she was mentally challenged, the mother thought that, she might be an impediment to her career progress.
That was a logic from a mother and a shocking one. It has happened on Friday.
The incident was complained before the police by her husband.
In another shocking incident, a couple has been arrested by the police for trying to bury their infant daughter alive as the newborn was little premature.
The parents of a baby could muster the guts to finish the life of the baby, as police said, fearing medical expenses these days.
May be en-number of such incidents are taking place across the country.
But the moot question is the declining state of humanism and compassion which constitute the essence of any human.
History may have it that, the tragedies of maternal filicide or a mother murdering her child have occurred throughout the history and may be throughout the world.
But, now, the time has changed and the society looks up to new morals to be defined with less such obnoxious mind sets.
History teaches us if we had gone wrong somewhere not just do something that has happened in history.
For example, Resnick’s review of the world psychiatric literature on maternal filicide found filicidal mothers to have frequent depression, psychosis, prior mental health treatment and even suicidal thoughts.
