Parlakhemundi ACF death: Diary of Soumya recovered, ambulance driver claims being stopped for 10 mins
Gajapati : Terrifying disclosures every alternate day in the suspicious death of the Parlakhemundi Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra, a diary written by ACF has surfaced in which there are heart-breaking revelations about family feud. In addition,the ambulance driver who was carrying the severely-burnt official to hospital has said that a woman in police uniform had asked him to stop the vehicle at forest gate.
In the dairy which was provided by ACF’s advocate purportedly written by ACF, read “I will resign from my job, I will be a servant to you..I wont ever tell you anything about this….I just need you as my wife & a good friend..whatever you want..will fulfill that.”
On the other hand, Police interrogated the 108 ambulance driver regarding Paralakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan’s death case late at night on Thursday.
It was around 11 am or 12 noon when I started driving to the hospital with the officer. The ambulance stopped at Forest gate and remained there for around 10-15 minutes as no one accompanied the patient. A madam in police uniform asked me to stop the vehicle. Later, the ambulance left for hospital after the patient’s wife came and accompanied him. When we reached Gopalpur, the ‘Madam’ (patient’s wife) asked me to take the patient to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. I drove straight to Cuttack and reached around 7 am, the driver said.
Yesterday, the Crime Branch team along with Gajapati police carried out searches at Soumya’s official quarters and gathered circumstantial evidence indicating at a fire mishap took place at the government quarters.
