CBI Anti-Corruption Bureau Raids on 18 Locations of Officers Selling Enemy Property Cheaply Otherwise Worth Billions

JUNE 19: In an unforeseen situation, the issue that has come to the forefront surprises many. The  issue is nn Thursday last, the CBI raided the premises of the officials and lessees involved in the scam in the lease of enemy properties.

It was a simultaneous action by the Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI which sprang into action conducting raids at 18 locations of tenants and officers in Lucknow, Barabanki, Sitapur, Delhi and Kolkata.

Custodian of Enemy Property, Ashok Agarwal complained about the unlawful deals to the appropriate authorities.It is alleged that many custodians of enemy property had leased properties worth billions of rupees without the permission of the Government of India.

In the Government of India, the Assistant Guardian of Enemy Property Abhishek Agarwal had lodged an FIR against nine people including the then Patron Utpal Chakraborty, the then Assistant Guardian Enemy Property Ramesh Chandra Tiwari. in whose name the property was leased. It was alleged that between the years 2019 to 2022, he had given land on lease to enemy properties of Barabanki and Sitapur districts, taking personal benefits at cheap rates.

Due to which the Government of India had suffered a huge loss. In another FIR, it is alleged that between 2016 and 2022, these officials leased expensive commercial properties of Lucknow at nominal rates in the name of fake lessees by falsifying documents.
