The responsibility of starting the team’s innings was in the hands of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan. Players like Suresh Raina, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Manish Pandey, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Jaydev Unadkat also participated in that match. But time passed and gradually most of these players lost their connection with the team.
