Balasore: A man allegedly killed his wife and chops her into pieces and put her into a sack, and disposed of her body at Palasia village under Basta police station limits in Balasore district.
According to reports, the incident came to the fore after some villagers spotted the alleged killer Pradip and his family with the sack and thought it to be suspicious and immediately informed Mama’s family.
Later, the dismembered body of Mama Das was then recovered by her family stuffed inside a sack tied with the help of a towel (gamcha).
On being informed, police reached the spot nad initiated an investigation in this regard.
Though the accused identified as Pradip Das and his friend managed to escape fron the spot, the mother-in-law and brother-in-law of Mama have been detained by the Basta police and are being questioned.
