Rishi Dhawan Announced Retirement: At present, news of retirement of many players is continuously coming out in Indian cricket, in which it started with Ravichandran Ashwin. Now Rishi Dhawan, who was away from Team India for the last 9 years, has also announced his retirement from limited overs format. Rishi made his debut in international cricket in the year 2016 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, apart from this, his bowling was also seen in the IPL. Rishi informed his fans about his retirement through a post on social media.

This game will always be close to my heart

Rishi Dhawan wrote in his post on social media about his retirement that I am feeling very emotional while taking this decision but I announce my retirement from Indian cricket. However, I don’t regret it because this game has given me so much over the last 20 years, including a lot of joy and countless great memories, and this game will always be close to my heart. I am grateful for the opportunities given to me by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association, Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. It has been a huge honor for me to represent my country on a big stage.

Rishi Dhawan’s career was like this

In international cricket, Rishi Dhawan got a chance to play for the Indian team in ODI and T20, in which he took one wicket each in three ODI matches and one T20 match. If we talk about his record in IPL, while playing in 39 matches, Rishi Dhawan had taken a total of 25 wickets at an average of 35.64, apart from this he had also managed to score 210 runs with the bat. Whereas in List-A cricket, Rishi Dhawan played a total of 134 matches and took 186 wickets at an average of 29.74 and also scored 2906 runs.
