Bhubaneswar: Panchayat committee chairman by election will be held on 22nd August. This notification has been published by the office of the State Election Commission. Elections will be held for the post of 6 Panchayat Samiti Chairman and one Vice Chairman.
For this, the notification will be published on the 14th August. If necessary, the vote will be taken between 12:30 pm to 02:00 pm on the voting day.
The State Election Commission has announced the dates for the elections in seven panchayat committees. Out of these six panchayat samiti will be elected for the post of chairman, while in Harbhanga of Boudh district, there will be a by election for the post of vice chairman.
