Early trend shows BJP leading in Dhamnagar Assembly election by 1379 votes at the end of second round of counting

Bhubaneswar, Nov 6 : Early trend showed Suryavansi Suraj (BJP) is leading by 1379 votes by the end of second round of counting of votes in the by election to Dhamnagar Assembly constituency.
While Suraj polled 8737 votes, Abanti Das of ruling BJD polled 7358 votes and Baba Harekrushna Sethi of Congress has got 313 votes and Rajendra Kumar Das (Ind) secured 597 votes.
In the fist round the BJP was ahead of its nearest rival Abanti Das of BJD by 769 votes.
