Cuttack: The Kolkata doctor rape case is currently the hottest debated topic of the country. While in Odisha the action has been taken against the accused in SCB rape case. Dotcor Dilbagh Singh Thakur has arrested.
The action has been taken against the doctor for misbehaving two women patients under the pretext of medical treatment at the SCB in Cuttack.
After the arrest of the accused doctor Dilbagh Singh Thakur, he has now been expelled from the hospital. After an emergency meeting of the SCB Medical Council, the accused doctor has been dismissed. A three-member committee led by DMET conducted an inquiry into the incident and submitted a report to the government.
DMET wrote to the SCB chairman to take immediate action in this matter. The action has been taken after an emergency meeting of the council of the medical college was held on Friday.
Last week, when two female patients went to SCB’s cardiology department, Dr. Dilbagh Singh Thakur allegedly molested both of them on the pretext of treatment. The incident came to light after the victim filed a written complaint at Puri police station. Based on the complaint, the Commissionerate Police registered a case and arrested Dr. Dilbagh Singh.
