Bhubaneswar: A teacher from Kartanpalli Government High School in Malkangiri, Odisha was arrested on Monday for leaking the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) recruitment exam question papers.
The teacher, Saroj Malu, was arrested for his alleged involvement and will be taken to Gujarat on remand. The Gujarat ATS arrested 15 people from Vadodara and recovered question papers from them, claiming it’s an organized gang with a network across various states.
The GPSSB exam was scheduled to recruit 1,181 junior clerks and 9.53 lakh candidates were expected to appear at 2,995 centers. The Gujarat government had to cancel the exam for the third time due to a question paper leak.
