Malkangiri: In a horrifying incident, two Minor Boys was electrocuted to death atop an electricity transformer at Undrukonda village under Kalimela police limits in Odisha’s Malkangiri district, today.
The deceased were identified as Chandan Padiami (7) and Manga Madhi (11) of the village.
According to reports, the two friends had climbed a tree to catch the bird, during which they came in contact with a live electric wire. Subsequently, both died on the spot.
A pall of gloom descended on the locality after the incident.
Meanwhile, further investigation in connection with the incident is underway, police said.
