In a shocking incident,Police recovered bombs from a ganja-laden vehicle on Sambalpur–Jharsuguda road on Monday.
However, the miscreants managed to escape from the spot.
As per reports, a team of Thelkoloi police was patrolling when the cops noticed that the miscreants were changing a deflated tyre of the vehicle near Khinda. The accused persons, on seeing the cops, fled the spot.
Sources said a team of Thelkoloi police was patrolling when they saw the miscreants changing a deflated tyre of the vehicle near Khinda. As the latter fled the spot on seeing the cops, police suspected foul play and searched the vehicle and detected three to four bombs hidden in the contraband .
Reports say that, police have recovered bombs from ganja-laden car. The bomb squad have been alerted and have reached the spot.
Till reports last came in, search and investigation was underway.
