Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Crime Branch on Wednesday took ASI Gopal Krishna Das, accused in the murder case of Health Minister Naba Kishore Das, on a four-day remand.
The Crime Branch presented Gopal Das at a local court in Jharsuguda on Monday and requested a seven-day remand, but the court only granted a four-day remand.
A new team of eight officers led by DSP Basudev Bhuyan has been formed by the Crime Branch to aid in the investigation and examination of the accused and witnesses.
