Ganja smugglers try new tricks in Odisha seem to be finding new ways to hoodwink the police with each passing day.
Excise officers of Angul district seized huge cache of ganja and arrested six persons during a raid at two places in Angul district early Friday morning.
The ganja has been seized and the icident has been reported from Jarpada Munda Sahi in Angul district of Odisha.
According to information, the sleuths, acting on a tip-off, conducted raids at Munda Sahi chhak and Bainda and made the seizure and arrests. They seized 108 kg of ganja, cost of which is estimated to be Rs 10,80,000.
Besides, the sleuths also seized two motor cars from them.
The arrestees will be forwarded to court after interrogation, said police.
