5T Secretary Pandian Visits Hinjilikatu and Sheragada in Ganjam; Takes Stock Of Development Activities

Berhampur: On the instructions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian is on a power-packed day-long visit to Ganjam’s Hinjili and Sheragada on Sunday.

During his visit, Pandian first reached the Shyamlai Temple in Burupada Gram Panchayat under Hinjilikattu block, received the blessings of the Goddess, held discussions with the members of the Development Committee of the Temple, and advised the District Magistrate to prepare a detailed project for its improvement and comply with the instructions of the Chief Minister as per the requirements of the committee within the next six months.

The 5T Secretary also visited the Uttareshwar Temple in Shergarh block, Bas Gram Panchayat, Jagannath Temple, Karanjai Temple in Prasna, Jagannath Temple in Kardakana, Jinkaria Shiva Temple in Dhabalpur, Hanuman Temple in Goth Village, Jagannath Temple in Alarigarh, Kureibhi Temple and Ghodeibhi Temple, Gopinath Temple in Gandala, Ishaneshwar. After discussions with all members of the temple management committees and the villagers, Pandian ordered the commencement of work on the beautification of these temple premises and the transformation of the temples.

The 5T Secretary met common people, PRI Members along with Mission Shakti Members and discussed in detail about the development of the area at Pitala, Karadakana and Alarigada. He asked the officials present to ensure that the benefits of the various welfare schemes of the Government of Odisha are reaching the people. He stressed on the development of the technical and educational institutions in Seragada and Hinjili.

Dibya Jyoti Parida, Ganjam Chief Development Officer Keerthi Vasan V, Joint Secretary to Chief Minister Shubhranshu Sekhar Mishra, Chatrapur Sub-Collector Prasanna Kumar Patra were present during the 5T Secretary’s visit.
