Two arrested for killing stray dog in Srinagar:Police

Srinagar, July 24 : Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two people on Monday for allegedly killing a stray dog in Srinagar’s Badamwari area.

The duo has been identified as Gulzar Ahmad Beigh of Rehmaniya Colony, Lal Bazar, and Adnan Shah of Hawal Badamwari, Police said in a Sunday-night tweet.

Police said the two were arrested on charges of cruelty and brutally killing a stray dog near Badamwari Rainawari on July 21, 2023.

A case under relevant sections of the law stands registered in Police Station Rainawari, they said.
