Bhubaneswar, Dec 29 : Odisha government on Friday extended the tenure of Chief Secretary P K Jena by six months.

P K Jena, a 1989 IAS Officer who assumed the office of the Chief Secretary on March 1, 2023 was to retire on December 31, 2023.
A notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department said the service of Pradeep Kumar Jena has been extended for a period of six months from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024.
With the extension of the service by six months, Jena will continue as the Chief Secretary till June 30, 2024
