Chandrapur, July 24 : A local BJP activist’s wife was shot dead and a man sustained serious injury when some people allegedly fired at them in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, a senior police official said on Monday.
According to the official, the incident occurred Sunday evening in Rajura tehsil of Chandrapur district when the assailants came to Rajura to kill Lalli Shergill, a resident of Somnathpur ward, over an old rivalry.
