“This book is different from my previous offerings in the sense that it practically wrote itself. All I had to do was to put my thoughts and feelings in words. Having lived a long life with so many experiences, good and bad, I have been fortunate to have been surrounded with love”, she said.
“Unfortunately, I am now seeing the modern trends where love is being overshadowed by materialism. Children are refusing to take care of their parents, marriages are ending in separation and people are running about looking for happiness in cars, houses, and bank balances. I remember the simpler times of the past when families stayed together for several generations, people drew pleasures in the small and basic things of lives and the focus was to live a life of contentment.Everyone needs to love and everyone has the need to be loved. That will never change. It is the most basic of all human instincts and makes us who we are. Those needs are still there. But in the present days, people are looking for that love in the wrong places. They are confusing love with material things. That will never work since love that is satisfying has to be pure and divine. Unless one accepts that love is the ultimate gift of divine, given to us to connect with each other and ultimately with the Supreme Lord, one cannot experience real happiness.” she further added.
