Bihar government provides 35 percent reservation to women in govt. jobs

Munger(Bihar), Aug 29 : JD(U) National President Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh on Tuesday lauded the policy of the Bihar government which provides 35 percent reservation to women in government jobs.
“Women empowerment can be seen in Munger district at present where five Woman Circle Officers and thirty woman sub-inspectors are doing their duties nicely,” said Lalan, the Lok Sabha member from Munger.
The M.P also lauded the role of the I.T.C Ltd.(Munger) in the renovation and beautification of the Heru Diara govt. middle school in Munger.
The M.P distributed Basgeet Purchas (papers of land) among nine landless people there.
