Bhubaneswar, Oct 15 : Police have arrested two persons including a home guard for illegally transporting seized fire crackers and liquor kept in Begunia Police station in Khurda District.
Police identified the home guard as Prakash Muduli.
Sources said the home guard and a driver were arrested after some locals saw them transporting the goods in a car on late Saturday night and informed the police.
Around two truck loads of fire crackers and 25 kg of gun powder illegally stored in a godown at Kantabad village and some liquor were seized from a car near Begunia stadium earlier on Saturday and kept in the police station.
