Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: Police on Saturday seized two truck load of fire crackers and around 25 kgs of gun powder illegally stored in a godown at Kantapada village under Begunia Police station limits of Khurda district in Odisha.
Sources said, acting on a tipoff, a police team conducted a raid and seized the fire crackers.
Police also detained a person in this connection and inquired into the incident.
A bomb disposal squad has been deputed to defuse the explosives.
Inquiry is underway to find the source of the procurement.
