Bhubaneswar, July 23 : Police on Sunday recovered the decomposed body of a doctor from a house, closed from inside, in the Chauliaganj area of Oisha’s Cuttack.
Police identified the deceased as M. Venkat Chandrasekhar. The doctor, posted at the Salepur CHC, was staying in a rented house at Chauliaganj.
Police broke open the house and recovered the body after it was informed about a foul smell emanating from the house.
Though the reason of the doctor’s death is not yet known it is suspected that he might have died following a cardiac arrest.
The cause of the death would be known only after the post-mortem.
