Shocking! 8,584 Children Below 5 yrs Of Age Died Due To Covid-19  In Maha: Minister

Mumbai, Mar 16  : State Women & Child Development Minister Yashomati Thakur on Wednesday informed the Maharashtra Assembly that a total of 8,584 children below age of five died due to Covid-19 pandemic from February to August last year in the state. She also said that such incidents were more in industrial and economically strong districts. She shared this information on the issue to the Lower House on a written reply.
