Nashik, Nov 12 : A 15-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by jumping from sixth floor of a hospital in city.
On Saturday, the deceased, Aniket Mayur Sarode (15), resident of Ganga Jamuna Apartment, Tilak path, in Nashik Road area, had left the Jyoti hospital somewhere at around 1600 hours but after a few hours late in evening at 2100 hrs, he committed suicide by jumping from sixth floor of Jyoti hospital.
In this incident, he was seriously injured. His father, Dr Mayur Sarode, admitted him to Ashwa care hospital for medical treatment, but the medical officer examined him and declared him dead on admission.
Aniket’s parents are both doctors.
The reason behind suicide has yet to be ascertained.
The Nashik Road police have registered a case of accidental death in this connection, sources added.
