Mumbai June 27: A group of eight people from different parts of Maharshtra on Monday field a Public Intrest Litigation (PIL) at the Bombay high court against Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Eknath Shinde and other rebel 38 Shiv Sena MLAs for “neglecting” their official duties and seeking directions to them to resume office.
The PIL by Utpal Baburao Chandawar and others was mentioned before the bench Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice MS Karnik .
The bench said it would consider listing the PIL. “You submit the prapers we will see,” Justice Dipankar Datta said.
The petitioner states that .petitioner are non-political persons and followers of constitutional values and they expect that all political parties leaders must follow “Constitutional Morality” and the citizens public rights are getting ignored due to the current political turmoil that is taking place in the State of Maharashtra.
“It is a public nuisance to the citizens as the Ministers in Maharashtra are causing neglecting their duties towards the citizens who have elected them, Instead of working for the community, these Respondents are aiming at securing personal gains by instigating internal disorder within the govemance of the State “, petition further says.
