Mumbai, Jun 30 : Shiv Sena rebel group leader Eknath Shinde took oath as new Chief Minister of Maharashtra and BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis as his deputy in a small function here on Thursday evening.

Both Shinde and Fadnavis took oath in Marathi.
During the swearing-in ceremony, slogans of ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji and Jai Shriram’ was heard at Raj Bhavan.
