Digvijay Blames BJP For Unemployment

Lucknow, Feb 7 : Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Digvijay Singh on Monday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Sangh Parivar want to make the youths grow up like sheep and goats without any jobs. “Educated, talented, job seeker and questioning youth are the biggest threat to the agenda of the BJP-Sangh Parivar. Now BJP has puts all its strength on teaching discrimination, hatred, teaching violence to the youth, so that they neither ask questions nor ask for employment, neither talk about the future nor assess the policies of the government,” he said here.

Releasing a booklet on youth unemployment at a press conference here, he said that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that demonetisation was a scam and it would lead to 2 per cent decline in the GDP. He said the average age of India is 28 years.

“We are one of the youngest countries in the world. But the Modi government is trying to convert the demographic dividend into a demographic disaster.” He said that today the working age population in India totalled about 108 crores but there was no work to do. In BJP-ruled states, the situation is even worse.
