Odisha: Thunderstorm Warning For Many Places Including Twin-City

Bhubaneswar, May 5: The Regional Meteorological Centre here on Thursday issued thunderstorm warning for many places of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack city.

The MeT Dept. has also forecasted thunderstorm with lightening and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is likely to occur over some parts of the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Cuttack including Cuttack city, Nayagarh, Khordha including Bhubaneswar, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Deogarh in afternoon.

In the MeT Dept. message people have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightening strike during this hour.
