Bhubaneswar, May 1: MLA from Jeypore, Tara Prasad and the PCC Chief whip has confirmed his resignation from party on Sunday evening. He cites personal reasons behind the resignation.
According to the veteran leader, he has sent a letter and intimated the Odisha Congress in-charge, Chella Kumar, about his intentions earlier. Adding to this, Tara Bahinipati also stated it very clear that he had never ever lobbied for it, but will definitely accept the position of OPCC guard if offered by the Congress High Command.
