Odisha Ministry Update: Entire Ministry Resigns, Oath Taking On Sunday

Bhubaneswar, June 4: The first-ever entire ministry resigned on Saturday of Naveen Patnaik Govt of Odisha. After getting calls from CMO all the ministers have resigned from their designated ministry one after the another. Reportedly, the new ministry will take oath on Sunday at Lokaseva Bhawan- Convention Hall here.

The probable names of the new Naveen ministry are as follows: Badri Narayan Patra from Keonjhar, Basanti Hembram from Mayurbhanj, Aswini Patra from Balasore, Latika Pradhan from Ganjam, Pradeep Amat from Boudh and Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak from Kendrapara.

With this the ministry reshuffle process has begun on war-foot in Odisha.

Earlier today Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly Surjya Narayan Patro has resigned from his post ahead of the Rajya Sabha election in Odisha. The Deputy Speaker has accepted Patro’s resignation letter.

The new law-makers are likely to take oath at 11.45 am on Sunday at Lokaseva Bhawan- Convention Hall here.
