Viral Video: PM Modi’s Hindi Interaction With Japanese Kids In Tokyo

May 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Japan on a two-day visit to attend the Quad summit, was welcomed by the Indian diaspora as well as Japanese citizens at a hotel in Tokyo on Monday.

What stood out during his interaction with them was his conversation with the children there.

Videos of PM Modi’s interaction with the kids were widely shared. One of the Japanese kids even spoke to the PM in Hindi. A visibly impressed PM Modi, asked: “Waah! Where did you learn Hindi from? You speak it pretty well.”

The kids who interacted with the PM were excited at having received his autograph.

The Indian diaspora raised slogans of “Bharat Ma ka sher” (The lion of India) to welcome PM Modi.
