Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday expressed his deep grief at the passing away of Heeraben Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Heeraben who was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad two days ago passed away at 3.30 AM on Friday while undergoing treatment.
The Chief Minister conveyed his deep sympathy to Prime Minister and other family members.
Patnaik also directed state Labour & Employees State Insurance Minister Srikant Sahu to attend the funeral on his behalf.
