It has happened in Rajsthan’s Sikar district where a mother-in-law stood out by her magnanimity towards her ‘Bahoo’.
Being widowed soon after the marriage Sunita’s life was thrown off-balance when her husband died.
However, her mother-in-law, Kamala Devi, a teacher by profession took the challenge on behalf of Sunita and never ever made her feel alone. Not that she showered the love of a mother but, she motivated Sunita to go for higher education.
She kept up this endeavour and did not give up till Sunita made it to the post-graduation and also became a lecturer in a college.
Loss of her husband Subham, who died of a brain-stroke was compensated when Sunita became a leacturer.
Not only Kamala Devi made her self-reliant but she married her off and did the Kanya Daan as the parent.
