CPI(M) Leader P Raghavan Passes Away

Kasaragod (Kerala), July 5: Former Uduma MLA and CPI(M) leader P Raghavan passed away due to old aged illness at a private hospital on Tuesday.

The 77-year-old leader is survived by wife Kamala and two children Arun Kumar and Ajith Kumar. He was elected twice from Uduma constituency in Kasaragod district in 1991 and 1996 as Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate.
He also served as the president of Bedakam Grama Panchayat, and trade union leader of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) as state vice president, secretary and also holds the post of Kasaragod district president and general secretary.
