As usual the member of Parliament from Bhubaneswarm Aparajita Sarangi has made a scathing attack in the BJD dispensation in Odisha for its various lapses in last 25 years.
But many BJP leaders of the day somehow choose to forget that it was also the BJP that partnered with the BJD for long nine years and little did she care to put forth what as an alliance partners the BJP did in augmenting many things of welfare exigency.
Aparajita Sadangi should know that BJP has ruled in Odisha with BJD for 9 years. What BJP had done in those periods.
Wrestlers are apoliticalÂ
A case in point is that, leaving aside politics, as being a woman herself has she raised even a murmur over the women wrestlers are fighting against sexual exploitation of BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Not a word whereas some from the BJP and a known BJP sympathizer Baba Ramdeb has said that Singh should be arrested.
Manipur a case in point
Manipur is burning where double engine functioning. Why she is silent. Is Manipur not an issue that deserves the attention of the PM. As a national party spokesperson she has an obligation. Or all the doors to Manipur are blocked and way to US is more pressing now.
She has criticised Odisha government and one bureaucrat and question all bureaucrats in CM department are non -Odia. She is also non Odia who ruthlessly, inhumanly treated teachers.
Yes, Odisha has problems, but she should say what BJP has done in other states and will do in Odisha if comes into power.
Every State has some unique problem so Odisha too. Baring few, everybody wants to enjoy power and supremacy if gets scope. In order to get more power, she joined politics even leaving civil services. If any bureaucrat got enormous faith from any Chief Minister, then what is the mistake of bureaucrat. Yes , bureaucrats are part of government.
They should not support or oppose any party. What is palpable that no bureaucrat is doing politics openly but most of them play a role which cannot be ignored but aptly discernible. It is a case in any state be it BJP or Congress ruled.
Flunkeyism is an ingredient which Indian bureaucrats adhere to. Often,instead of giving correct advise, they are justifying government decisions even if it is wrong. In many states including Centre, this is happening.
Who advised demonitization. It is not then RBI governor but bureaucrat Shaktikanta Das. Why did Raghuram Rajan, Aravinda Subramanian, Urjeet Patel left. They didn’t agree with wrong decision of central government.
Any IAS comes under jurisdiction of central government. Centre has more control on them than State. Why do blame any bureaucrat individually. Blame the system.
In his ‘Man ki baat’ the PM conveniently ignored the mention of Manipur and rather he hurried to recollect the horrors of Emergency. Whereas how many BJP top echelons suppoted the JP movement against Emergency?
