Odisha Approves Eleven Investment Proposals Worth Rs.2253 Crore

Bhubaneswar, August 4: Eleven investment proposals worth Rs.2253.15 crore with direct employment potential of 3817 were approved by Odisha State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) on Thursday.

The proposals were approved at the SLSWCA meeting chaired by Chief Secretary S C Mohapatra held in digital mode.

Giving a nod to the project proposals, the Chief Secretary directed concerned departments to provide “proactive facilitation to the approved units for their early grounding”.

The proposals approved in the meeting were from various sectors like aluminum downstream, steel, food processing, infrastructure, oil and gas, information technology, electronic system designing and manufacturing.

The projects included Fedders Electric and Engineering Limited’s proposal to set up an Iron Ore Beneficiation plant at Sundergarh at a cost of Rs 533.26 crore and Envirocare Infrastructure Pvt
Ltd ‘s proposal to set up a DRI and Pellet with beneficiation plant and Ferro Alloys plant at Sundergarh at a cost of Rs 520 crore.

The SLSWCA also approved the proposal of the Adani Enterprisers Ltd ‘s proposal to set up a
Data Centre facility offering cloud hosting service at Khurdha at a cost of Rs 500 crore

The Arya Iron and Steel Company Pvt Ltd’s proposal to set up a billet Color coated TMT and filter cake handling system at Keonjhar at a cost of Rs 175.75 crore was alo approved in the meeting.

The other major proposal approved by the SLSWCA included the Rs 150 crore Manufacturing High Grade Titanium Slag and by-product Pig iron plant at Ganjam by Raj Rajeshwari Lalith Tripurasundari Pvt Ltd .
