ATF, LPG Prices Slashed

New Delhi, August 1: The prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) and commercial LPG cylinders were slashed on Monday.

While the ATF was cut by 12 per cent, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were reduced by Rs 36 per cylinder.

According to a notification of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a kilo litre of ATF will now cost Rs 1,21,915.57 in New Delhi; Rs 1,28,425.21 in Kolkata; Rs 1,20,875.86 in Mumbai and Rs 1,26,516.29 in Chennai.

This is the third reduction this year. Earlier, the prices were revised on July 16 and June 16. ATF prices are revised on 1st and 16th of every month.

As per another IOC notification, a 19-kg cylinder will now cost Rs 1,976.50 in New Delhi, Rs 2,095.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1,936.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2,141.00 in Chennai.

Earlier, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were cut by Rs 8.50 per 19-kg cylinder. Rates differ from state to state depending upon local taxes. The new rates are applicable from today.

The prices of diesel and petrol on the day remain unchanged.
