Punishment For Wearing Shorts, Girls Living In PG Beaten Up With Slippers
Pune, Mar 5: In Pune, which is called the cultural capital of Maharashtra, a case of assault on girls for wearing shorts has come to the fore. The victims girls live in a PG. Some people living nearby had objections to the dress of the girls. Amidst the controversy over this matter, he beat up the girls with slippers.
Chandan Nagar Police of Pune has registered a case against 6 people in this case. Police said that this incident is of Kharadi’s Rakshak Nagar. Here some girls live in a PG, who work in different companies. The mistress of the PG has lodged a complaint that some people beat up the girls living in her PG. After receiving the complaint, the police have registered a case against 6 people under sections 448, 323, 504, 506, 143, 147, 149 of the IPC.
The complainant woman told that the accused often quarrel with her about one or the other thing. This time he beat up the clothes of the girls living in PG. The mistress of the PG told that some people came to her house on Wednesday night and started fighting over the fact that the girls living in her PG roam around the area wearing shorts.
Soon the controversy escalated to such an extent that the accused beat up the girls with slippers. Not only this, he also threatened that if the girls did not stop walking wearing shorts, then the house would be ransacked. Police say that they have started investigation by registering a case on the basis of the complaint. The PG mistress and the girls living there are scared about this incident.
