Bhubaneswar, Apr 12: In a major update, atleast two suspects have been detained in relation to the brutal murder of a homeless man near PMG square in the capital city, Bhubaneswar.
The deceased man along with his wife and their child were attacked while they were asleep.
On getting the information, Kharvel Nagar police along with the scientific team arrived at the spot and recovered the body. The body was found lying in a pool of blood.
The wife-child duo sustained critical injuries and they were rushed to Capital Hospital hospital for medical treatment following which the minor child has been handed over to child line commission.
The cops suspected that the murder has taken place late on Sunday night and initiated a probe into the murder based on the CCTV footage. The cause behind this murder has not yet been ascertained.
