Do You Want Him To Marry, Kill Someone Every Year? SC Denies Bail To Man

New Delhi, Feb 8: The Supreme Court rejected the bail plea of a man accused in a dowry harassment and death case of his wife.

Arguing for the bail plea, the advocate for the accused claimed that the man had no antecedents. To this, the Supreme Court countered, “What antecedents? Do you want (the accused) to marry someone every year and kill his wife?”

The Supreme Court said that they are not inclined to grant bail at this stage and asked for the trial to begin.
