Tokyo Paralympics: Avani Lekhara wins maiden Gold, Yogesh Kathunia, Devendra Jhajharia grab Silver

After a wonderful Day 5 where India bagged two silver medals and a bronze, It’s raining medals for India at Tokyo Paralympics on Day 6. Avani Lekhara began the tally by claiming first Gold for India with a new Paralympic record while Yogesh Kathunia has bagged a silver in men’s discuss throw. Meanwhile, Devendra Jhajharia has also won Silver medal in men’s javelin throw while Sundar Singh Gurjar added Bronze medal in the event.
