Odisha: The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have foiled a well designed plan of the Red rebels by defusing an improvised explosive device (IED) at Pujariput forest on Odisha-Chhattisgarh border of Koraput district on Saturday.
Sources said the Special Operation Party of 151 Battalion of BSF recovered IED making materials near Pujariput Chhak, about 5 km from the Company Operating Base (COB) at Ramagiri in Koraput district on Friday. Soon after the recovery of the IED by the BSF personnel, a bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot and diffused the IED.
The IED materials were found concealed and placed on the pavement of under-construction roadside near Pujariput Chhak, sources said.
