Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Wednesday registered 734 fresh cases of Covid-19.
From the above cases, 101 are between the age group of 0-18 years.
A sum of 69,326 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. With this the test positivity rate (TPR) stands at 1.05%.
Among the new cases, 424 are in quarantine and 310 are local contacts. With this, the total number of positive cases in Odisha now stands at 1021950 with 5521 active cases.

In addition, four succumbed to the deadly Covid-19 disease in the last 24 hours, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department on Wednesday. With this the fatality toll stands at 8,150.
1. A 65 years old Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
2. A 40 years old Female of Kendrapara District.
3. A 91 years old Male of Khordha District who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease, Parkinsonism, Cerebro Vascular Accident .
4. A 53 years old Male of Nayagarh District.
